{"id":9692,"date":"2016-05-10T17:58:09","date_gmt":"2016-05-10T09:58:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/russianculture.cn\/ru\/?p=9692"},"modified":"2016-05-10T17:58:09","modified_gmt":"2016-05-10T09:58:09","slug":"russian-youth-forums-2016","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/russianculture.cn\/ru\/russian-youth-forums-2016\/","title":{"rendered":"RUSSIAN YOUTH FORUMS 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Federal Agency for Youth Affairs of the Russian Federation cordially invites students and young professionals from around the world to take part in high-level multi-themed youth forums, being organized in Russia throughout the months of July and August in the summer of 2016.<\/p>\n<p>Each forum is divided into multiple week-long sessions, focusing on different subject areas. Throughout the week, participants are engaged in thought- provoking lectures, panel discussions, debates and case studies &#8212; all involving Russia&#8217;s most prominent names in academia, politics, business, IT, science, civil society, arts and culture.<\/p>\n<p>The forums encourage and empower participants to push forward new ideas and find solutions to unresolved domestic and international problems, while forming social networks and developing professional communities.<\/p>\n<p>The application process to all forums is identical &#8212; those interested must register in the automated information system (AIS) &#171;Youth of Russia&#187;, operated by the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs. Once registered, an applicant will be able to select the desired forum and session from a list of available events in his or her profile, and complete an electronic application form.<\/p>\n<p>The link to AIS &#171;Youth of Russia&#187; is:<a href=\"http:\/\/ais.fadm.gov.ru\/registration\"> http:\/\/ais.fadm.gov.ru\/registration<\/a><\/p>\n<p>If an applicant has additional questions or runs into difficulties while applying, he or she should contact the International Division of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs by email at <a href=\"mailto:id@fadm.gov.ru\"><em>id@fadm.gov.ru<\/em><\/a> or call at +7 495 668 8008 (ext. 2405) on weekdays, 10AM &#8212; 6PM Moscow time.<\/p>\n<p>The forums and their sessions are listed below.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>RUSSIAN YOUTH FORUM TERRA SCIENTIA<\/p>\n<p>The Terra Scientia youth forum will take place on the bank of Klyazma River in Russia&#8217;s Vladimir region. It is divided into 8 week-long themed sessions, each focusing on a particular subject area:<\/p>\n<p>Session 1: Social Sciences Dates: June 27 &#8212; July 3, 2016<\/p>\n<p>Working language: Russian with translation to English<\/p>\n<p>Session 2: Politics and Leadership Dates: July 5 &#8212; 11, 2016<\/p>\n<p>Working language: Russian with translation to English<\/p>\n<p>Session 3: Information Technology Dates: July 13 &#8212; 19, 2016<\/p>\n<p>Working language: Russian with translation to English<\/p>\n<p>Session 4: Interethnic Relations Dates: July 21 &#8212; 27, 2016 Working language: Russian only<\/p>\n<p>Session 5: Economics Dates: July 29 &#8212; August 4, 2016<\/p>\n<p>Working language: Russian with translation to English<\/p>\n<p>Session 6: Public Health Dates: August 6 &#8212; 12, 2016<\/p>\n<p>Working language: Russian with translation to English<\/p>\n<p>Session 7: NGOs and Civil Society Dates: August 14 &#8212; 20, 2016<\/p>\n<p>Working language: Russian with translation to English<\/p>\n<p>Session 8: Journalism and Media Dates: August 22 &#8212; 28, 2016<\/p>\n<p>Working language: Russian with translation to English<\/p>\n<p>Participation is free for those who are selected. Meals, lodging, and the roundtrip transfer from Moscow to the forum will be provided by the organizers. Participants are expected to cover their own visa and traveling fees to Moscow.<\/p>\n<p>The Federal Agency for Youth Affairs will assist participants with the visa application process and work closely with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to make sure that a humanitarian visa is promptly issued to all participants who require a visa to enter the Russian Federation.<\/p>\n<p>At the forum, participants will be housed in a sophisticated camp, set up especially for the forum. It is divided into 6 week-long themed sessions, each focusing on a particular subject area:<\/p>\n<p>Session 1: Music and Choreography<\/p>\n<p>Dates: July 1 &#8212; 7, 2016<\/p>\n<p>Working language: Russian only<\/p>\n<p>Session 2: Architecture and Design Dates: July 9 &#8212; 15, 2016 Working language: Russian only<\/p>\n<p>Session 3: Painting and Sculpture Dates: July 17 &#8212; 23, 2016 Working language: Russian only<\/p>\n<p>Session 4: Film and Theater Dates: July 25 &#8212; 31, 2016 Working language: Russian only<\/p>\n<p>Session 5: Writing and Poetry Dates: August 2 &#8212; 8, 2016 Working language: Russian only<\/p>\n<p>Session 6: History Dates: August 10 &#8212; 16, 2016<\/p>\n<p>Working language: Russian with translation to English<\/p>\n<p>Participation is free for those who are selected. Meals, lodging, and the roundtrip transfer from Moscow to the forum will be provided by the organizers. It is divided into 3 week-long themed sessions, each focusing on a particular subject area:<\/p>\n<p>Session 1: Development of the Russian Far East Dates: August 6 &#8212; 14, 2016 Working language: Russian only<\/p>\n<p>Session 2: Russia in the Asia-Pacific region Dates: August 16 &#8212; 24, 2016<\/p>\n<p>Working language: Russian with translation to English<\/p>\n<p>Session 3: Human Capital in the Russian Far East Dates: August 26 &#8212; September 3, 2016 Working language: Russian only<\/p>\n<p>Participation is free for those who are selected.
