New version of “Sputnik V” fights the “Omicron” and “Delta” strains more effectively

The Gamaleya Research Center has presented a new version of its coronavirus vaccine, which is adapted to the “Delta” and “Omicron” strains. The latter strain is now the dominant one in the world, accounting for most of the cases.

The initial version of the vaccine, according to the representatives of the Center, continues to show excellent results in preventing hospitalization and deaths.
