Computer science
The computer science program is based on the fundamentals of programming and computational theory. It provides the knowledge and skills that serve as a solid foundation for effectively applying digital processes to the issues of broad interest to the global society. The course also offers opportunities for undergraduate research and international study. This program provides an intuitive, flexible set of courses, enabling a student to craft an outstanding future in an area that is certain to have social value in the modern world. The goal of the program is to train highly qualified specialists in the field of programming. To achieve this, we ensure that our students not only receive a theoretical background but are engaged in research and development in a wide range of fields, from discrete mathematics to internet technology.
Aerospace engineering
This program provides students with knowledge crucial for the development and production of aerospace systems. In addition, it includes the study of specialized modules in aircraft performance, the principles of microeconomics and structures, as well as electives covering such areas as the mechanics of deformable bodies, advanced aerodynamics, aviation, and space flight.
With an MIPT degree, a student is well-placed for career opportunities in the aerospace industry, including positions in private companies and the public sector, as well as entering graduate school.
Biomedical engineering
Educating the next generation of biomedical engineers requires the true integration of the life sciences and engineering. That way we can benefit from the biological revolution and its applications to medicine. This undergraduate degree program is for outstanding students who wish to be equipped with the tools for becoming leaders in the field of biomedical engineering in the 21st century. The course provides a solid foundation in fundamental engineering, mathematics, and the natural sciences — biology, chemistry, and physics. The objects of professional training on the biomedical engineering bachelor’s program are devices, systems, complexes, and basic medical technologies, as well as methods of research, information processing in practical health care and various fields of biomedical research.
