Share in the beauty of Russian literature—no Russian required! Join us for the first meeting of the Samovar Society, a new book club bringing readers together over stories, conversation and good company. And of course, a samovar.

All discussions will be in English.

For our first meeting, we’ll explore three short stories by Anton Chekhov:
• The Lady with the Dog
• Anna on the Neck
• Gooseberries

Please read the stories beforehand so we can spend our time sharing impressions, favourite moments and discussing the big questions. All three are readily available online in English translation.
