MGIMO in Beijing!
Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO University) of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is one of Russia’s leading universities and a renowned international centre for training specialists in diplomacy, international relations, economics, law, journalism and foreign languages.
At the end of October, MGIMO is heading to China to meet prospective students in person! From 24 to 31 October, a University delegation will hold a series of events for school and university students — from lectures and meetings to interactive activities and the MGIMO International School Olympiad.
First stop — Beijing
On 25 October, two events will take place at the Russian Cultural Centre.
10:00 — MGIMO International School Olympiad
• For the first time, Chinese school students will have the opportunity to take part in the MGIMO International School Olympiad for International Students in person.
• Participants will complete two sets of tasks: an English language test; an interdisciplinary section in Chinese, featuring questions on geography, world history and international relations.
• Winners will have the opportunity to study at MGIMO tuition-free, while prize winners will receive priority admission to fee-paying places.

14:00 — MGIMO Day
After the Olympiad, we will continue getting to know MGIMO and talk about studying at the University, the admission process and opportunities for international students. The programme will include:
• a presentation of MGIMO and an admissions masterclass;
• lectures by MGIMO professors and experts;
• meetings with MGIMO students;
• an interactive quiz about Russia, China and international cooperation.
The event will be held in English.
