Rosatom will build a wind farm in Vietnam

Rosatom will build a wind farm in Vietnam. The agreement on this was signed by the division of the state wind energy corporation NovaWind and the Vietnamese An Xuan Energy.

“We have formed a great experience as a developer of wind power projects in Russia and we are ready to apply our skills abroad. Rosatom is already running a number of projects in Vietnam in the field of energy and science, and now these areas of partnership are being expanded. The development of wind energy will not only contribute to the energy security and industrialization of the region, but also accelerate the transition to an energy model that meets the goals of sustainable development,” narrated Grigory Nazarov, CEO of NovaWind.

“We are so glad to sign a deal with NovaWind for the construction of a wind farm in Son La province. This project will bring social and economic benefits to Vietnam, the national energy system and the population of the province,” said An Xuan Energy CEO Nguyen Quang Luang.
